How we check
The method
Every field on a listing carries where it came from, who supplied it, and when we last looked. A listing’s status is worked out from those values by one function. It is never typed in.
How the status follows
The same function runs the internal preview and the commit, so a reviewer can never see one status and publish another.In order. First match wins.

What each mark claims
A field can also be Unknown. Absence is reported rather than dropped, because a missing fee is worth knowing about.- Checked on the official page

Someone other than the organiser told us. We have named them.

The page we used has moved or stopped updating, so this might be out of date.
What each status claims
Cancelled and high-risk listings stay up, with their findings. Deleting them would hide the useful part.- Verified
We checked every detail here against the organiser’s own page.
- Partially verified
We have checked some of this ourselves. The rest comes from the organiser or someone else.
- Unreviewed
Listed by the organiser. Nobody here has checked any of it yet.
- Needs review
Something here has nothing behind it, or two sources disagree and we have not settled it.
- High-risk
We found real problems with this event. They are set out below, exactly as we wrote them.
- Cancelled
This event is not going ahead. We have kept the page so there is still a record of it.
Not for sale
Organisers can buy a subscription and promotion. That is the whole price list, and neither one touches anything above.- Status
Computed from evidence. No tier or payment is an input.
- Findings
Published as written. No commercial route removes one.
- Comparison order
Set by the reader. Nothing paid enters it.
- Sponsor ordering
Date and evidence. A promoted listing gets no lift.
- The Promoted label
Cannot be switched off.
- Self-verification
An organiser’s input is always “from organiser”.

What we cannot tell you
- We do not sell tickets. If you paid an organiser and something went wrong, that is between you and them, but tell us and we will add it to the record.
- Verified is not a review. It means the facts check out, not that the teaching is worth your leave.
- We do not audit sponsorship. Sponsors are disclosed on the organiser’s word. We take no commission and never see the contract.
- We hold no speaker contact details. There is no email field in the speaker data at all.
